“If you’re lost and looking for truth, look in your heart”
Uncle Bob (1952 - Nov 2025)
We honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Uncle Indian Bob, a beloved elder and friend of many.
A humble wisdom keeper, educator, and activist enrolled in the Rosebud Sioux tribe in South Dakota, Uncle Indian Bob dedicated his life to compassionate service. His generosity of spirit and depth of wisdom rippled throughout the planet and deeply touched so many lives. Bob faced countless challenges, and until his last day on this earth he walked with love and kindness.
Bob has been a well of inspiration to us.
It is our honor to share this morning practice and wisdom talk with you — so that his spirit and teachings may live on through us.
This was recorded in 2024, during a cohort of Collective Practice.
Smudge & Prayer
Connect to the earth and the power of prayer..
Note: You can use sage or any other herb that is sacred to you (cedar, copal, etc). You can use an abalone shell like he does, or any other dish that is fireproof. We encourage you to watch the intro video before trying the meditation! It’s worth it.
